If any 7th-12th graders are interested in playing High School Girls Volleyball this year please contact coach Heather Price or assistant coach Neil Mullins. This week’s open gym schedule: 🏐 Wednesday 6-8 pm 🏐 Thursday 7-9 pm

Any 6th-8th grade middle school girls who would like to participate in middle school volleyball, there will be an open gym in the morning from 9-10:30. Kids are recommended to bring gear such as knee pads but they are not required at this time. We look forward to seeing you all in the morning!

A solid end to Riley's breakout freshman year! He placed 18th in the 1600m and 17th in the 3200m at State today. This caps off a year where he won a Regional cross country championship, placed in the top 50 at state in cross country, was regional runner up in the 1600m and 3rd in the region in the 3200m. Along the way, Riley kept setting new PRs all year as well. Congratulations Riley!

Our Seniors will be taking one last bus ride through town tomorrow morning. If you can, come out and wave. The time will be roughly between 9:45am and 10:15am. Sorry we can't be more specific but we have a lot going on in the morning!

On behalf of the Lee County School District we would like to invite all family, friends, and community members to join us in celebration of the accomplishments of our 8th grade class of 2024. The promotion ceremony will commence at 7pm in the Heber Dunaway gymnasium tomorrow, May 21.

Families are cordially invited to attend the 2024 Junior BETA induction ceremony this Monday evening, May 20th at 6pm at Sedley Stewart Auditorium with a reception to follow. All current members are encouraged to attend and participants are required to report to the auditorium lobby by 5:45pm to line up. Guests should plan to be seated by 6:00 pm as doors will close to the public at that time for commencement of the candle lighting ceremony. Thank you for your continued support and we look forward to celebrating your Junior BETA club member's successes with you on Monday evening!

The Middle School Science Fair is at 12:30 tomorrow in the MS Cafeteria. Please come out and support our students.

Lee County High School Kiwanis Sports Award Program will be Thursday, May 16 at 6:00 in the Sedley Stewart Auditorium.

Congrats to Elijah Caudill and Grant Hall. They won their doubles match against Perry Central tonight to advance to the second round of the regional tournament! Way to go guys!!!!!

This is a reminder that we will be having our Senior Awards Ceremony tonight at Sedley Stewart Auditorium. Start time is 6 o'clock.

With the high probability of rain in the forecast for tomorrow, the 11th and 12th grade trip to Natural Bridge has been moved to Friday.

What better way to celebrate the last full week of school?

We have had a great week celebrating and recognizing the incredible staff we have at LCMHS! Thank you for everything that you do for our students. One week is not nearly enough to express how thankful we are to have you!

Attention senior students and parents: Tomorrow, 5/8, Joplin Rice of KHEAA will be at the high school. He will be present to assist with any remaining FAFSA needs or concerns. His workshop will be in the high school library from 1:00 - 3:00PM that afternoon. Any LCMHS senior student or parent is welcome to attend to receive assistance with their FAFSA. If your student is still having any challenges completing this important process, this is a great opportunity to get help from an expert.
